What is the Partnership Walk?

Partnership Walk is an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. (AKF USA) and its volunteers in communities across America to raise funds and awareness to help communities in some of the poorest areas of Africa and Asia create long-term solutions to poverty.

Since 1995, 40 Walks have been held in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles, attracting 239,000 participants and raising $28 million. In 2007, 27,500 Walkers in 5 cities raised $2 million to bring a spark of hope to vulnerable families in Africa and Asia. 100% of the funds raised at Partnership Walk go directly to projects supported by the Foundation. I would absolutely recommend Hakim & Sons Videography for videography! Shezad and his staff was so professional, you barely knew they were there. We were very appreciative the staff was everywhere yet somehow unseen at the same time.

The best part is when we saw the video it was more than we ever imagined! We watched the video and said “was that OUR wedding?!” I saw people I didn’t remember seeing that nights, moments my hubby and I missed and the most part was able to have these live memories for the rest of our lives. The video quality along with edits were extremely innovative and creative. In fact several of my friends and family purchased the video to share with friends.

I found Hakim & Sons Videography through one of my bridesmaids who had him film her wedding. They did an amazing job capturing all the events of our day. The video is breathtaking! I’m not sure hollywood could have done a better job. The artistic editing made the video fun to watch, stylish, and beautiful. Shezad really captured the elegance of our ceremony and all of the special moments before, after and during the ceremony. My parents (who were against the idea of having a videographer) and I agree that the video was the most special thing that we have to remember from the wedding. Hakim and Sons were also extremely professional and did a great job of being unobtrusive. My husband and I couldn’t be happier and are delighted that we chose Hakim and Sons for our special day.

Yesterday, I had a great lunch at The Keg Steakhouse with couple of my dear photographer friends. With us was Humza Yasin, Luke Edmonson, and Kevin Jairaj. I truly savored this moment because this was the first time that three leading photographers in Dallas were meeting for a brainstorming session and they invited me to join them. It was fun hanging out with these guys and talking about the industry and our aspirations. — Shezad

A lot of questions have been raised about our Wedding Day Edits also known as the Same Day Edit. We take your guests behind the scenes of the bridal & groom prep; share your experiences, feelings, & emotions from the day off; and lastly let them visualize different perspectives of the ceremony from earlier in the day. All this plus more…within a few hours of the ceremony. This film is produced to be presented to all your guests at the reception.

Now let’s take it to the next level!

There are many options available to take this to the next level. Below, I have highlighted some of the many options but lets chat to see how we can customize this for you.
Options include:
1)    Same day delivery – Your guests can take a copy of this film as a party favor at the end of the night. These party favors are delivered in customized DVD cases designed with your vision in mind.
2)    Love story highlight – We can produce the same day edit to include a pre-produced & polished film to be able to tell your story of the beginning of your life together.
3)    Online trailer – Imagine being able to send a link to your wedding day film to all your friends, families, relativities, and colleagues who couldn’t be at the festivities…all within hours of the reception.
